Job Duties:
ADP Technology Services, Inc. seeks a Senior Application Developer at our New York, New York location. Responsibilities: Act as a primary resource for technical design, development, testing, support and ongoing maintenance for Human Capital Management (HCM) information applications leveraging our Open HCM platform. Implement and configure software application functionality including user interfaces, business rules, workflows and complex logic. Participate in the creation of technical design and implementation of documents. Enforce governance around cross-cutting capabilities such as security, authentication, authorization and auditing. Work closely with software development test engineers to fully automate application testing and high-quality development and configuration. Participate in internal software development process improvement initiatives and provide feedback on processes and drive both technology change as well as software product insight. Work on software application development and configuration requirements and collaborate with Product Management and Technology Architects in a full-stack capacity.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field plus five (5) years of related experience. Employer will accept a master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience.
Work Experience:
Two (2) years of experience must include: HTML; JavaScript; Restful and SOAP-based web services, including JSON and XML; Unit testing frameworks; SQL Data Store, including Oracle, MySQL or MSSQL; Agile; Object-oriented programming; Test-driven software development; and Networking protocols, including HTTP/HTTPS.
