Lead Automation Engineer

What You'll Do:

• Work as an Automation Engineer on MANTL's QA team
• Help in designing, implementing, and maintaining test automation infrastructure
• Work with development teams to advise on, guide, and troubleshoot automated tests
• Assist with managing CI/CD pipelines
• Perform defect management activities
• Help build a culture where everyone is responsible for product quality

About You:

• You have a quality mind set
• You understand the testing pyramid and the value of testing code as close to the source as possible
• You enjoy the challenge of breaking down complex systems into testable components and designing test coverage best suited to address those components
• You understand all systems have constraints and account for these constraints in your work knowing that there are always trade offs 
• You enjoy collaborating with people 1-on-1 and in small groups

Must Haves:

• 4+ years professional experience writing and maintaining automated testing suites — with strong exploratory testing skills
• Good technical and communication skills — with the ability to self manage and estimate work
• Proficiency in Javascript / Typescript
• Proficiency with Testcafe, Selenium Webdriver or similar testing tool
• Experience writing automated API tests
• Experience with NodeJS
• Familiarity with SQL
• Familiarity with Bash

Nice to Haves:

• Experience maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with other test frameworks: Jest, Appium, Cypress.io,
• Experience with other programming or scripting languages: Python, Ruby etc
