Spruce is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join its growing, energetic team in NYC. The Senior DevOps Engineer will ensure the stability of the Spruce platform by enhanced monitoring and alerting. This individual will be working on a small team that works closely with the Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in real estate and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop processes and software to configure, maintain infrastructure and deployments in Google Cloud Platform
• Contribute operational experience to software and quality engineering
• Coordinate communication around technical infrastructure in the Spruce organization

Qualifications:

• At least 4+ years experience managing infrastructure for an organization
• Handy facility with UNIX administration: bash, GNU tools, etc
• Good grasp of TCP/IP
• Hands-on AWS, Google Cloud or Azure experience at some scale
• Docker, Kubernetes, Big Data operations, SQL database administration are all pluses
