EPAM’s Financial Services Practice is looking for exceptionally talented people to join our team of world-class engineers. Our clients are some of the world’s largest and most innovative banks, investment banks, and wealth management institutions.

We have a Team of 60+ engineers (Developers, QAs, BAs, project managers) who are working on one big product - re-engineering of a customer's multi-asset trading system. Join the EPAM team who is building out the next generation CI/CD and Build systems for a cutting-edge financial services client. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who is extensive engineering experience with Java, Scala, Python or Go.

We focus on making engineering more productive and take on the optimizations that other teams are never prioritized to do. We believe in a DevOps mindset and champion enabling over supporting.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with 4+ years of relevant experience, who will operate as a participant, or lead; small to medium projects involving configuration as code. The projects will be undertaken in a financial trading environment which includes execution as well as post-trade analytics. Candidates will be expected to work directly with business customers as a partner to achieve a common goal.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Migration/deployment of existing or new applications into a config as code, cloud based environment
• Extensive software engineering using Scala, Python, Java or Go language
• This will include taking projects from requirements gathering & prototyping through to production deployment
• Candidate will be given latitude and the expectation to drive & shape improvements to the various frameworks in the development space

WHAT YOU HAVE

• A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
• Driven, dependable, and empathetic personality. The candidate should be able to independently set goals and achieve them based on the larger vision and projects
• Expertise in at least one of the following languages: Scala, Python, Java, or Go
• Multiple years of experience working with cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure
• Software GENERALIST - be able to work with multiple stacks of tools, approaches and environments (Mac, Windows, Linux)
• Skills/knowledge and DESIRE to improve current CI process. Experience building CICD pipelines
• Experience with Docker. Kubernetes experience is a plus
• Bazel (or Blaze if you've worked in Google) experience is desired
