The Platform Engineering teamat VTS enables our products to be scalable, performant, reliable, secure, and observable. We build frameworks, services/capabilities, and tools that are centralized leverage for new functionality and delivering value to our customers. Join our team and contribute to building an integrated platform for the fastest-growing commercial real estate automation SaaS organization.


We are looking for an experienced leader to join our Platform Engineering team focusing on developer tools, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and DevSecOps. The Platform Engineering team’s mission is to deliver infrastructure as code (IaC) tools and services that enable our engineers to amplify productivity, quality, and reliability. VTS is growing rapidly with new products like VTS Market and will continue to expand our product portfolio this year and beyond. The Platform Engineering team is at the center of engineering innovation that will power our products. In this position, you will shape the infrastructure tools and management practices at VTS. Your impact will unpack the possibilities of running a strong platform team.

  • You will build and lead a team of engineers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and hands-on career development
  • Support timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs by working closely with the product team in prioritizing projects and building roadmaps
  • Advocate and advance modern, agile software development practices in the domains of SRE/DevSecOps/IaC and help develop, evangelize great engineering and organizational practices
  • Grow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company values
  • Be an active part of the Platform Engineering (foundation houses) leadership team and collaborate with other leaders in the organization

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • Strong technical leadership and a solid background in Cloud infrastructure (AWS), both building tools and managing systems at scale in production are must
  • Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders and helping them understand the trade-offs to different technical decisions
  • Experience in hiring, leading, coaching, and mentoring software developers towards career growth, delivering timely, high-quality software together as a team
  • Familiarity with core infrastructure components such as CDN, Networking, DNS, Containers, K8s, and practices such as SRE/DevOps/DevSecOps
  • Experience managing managers is a plus
