Senior Frontend Engineer, Community
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to join our Community team. You will have the opportunity to lead development of internal tools and related applications and features to support content moderation, user privacy and safety, and customer experience.
This team builds the tools that keep our users safe from both digital and real-world harm, and protect their privacy. You will have the ability to modernize and scale these tools and work directly with stakeholders to design and build new ones, and lead the front end practice at Hinge.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to build features that expand the capabilities and improve usability of internal tooling for Hinge's Community team (encompassing Trust & Safety, Privacy, and Customer Experience)
- Design and lead development of front end applications along with a team of full-stack and backend engineers
- Have a voice in the direction of our tooling and how we support our team's mission
- Learn new technical and leadership skills, and mentor others
What We're Looking For:
- You are adept with JS+React/Redux and HTML/CSS
- You have led multiple complex projects from design through delivery
- You are interested in building tools, software architecture, and mentorship
- You have experience with cross-functional collaboration, and enjoy working with teammates from many different disciplines
