TITLE: Senior Frontend Engineer IV (CB Information Services, Inc. d.b.a. CB Insights – New York, NY)

HOURS: 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00

DUTIES: Develop features for our next generation market intelligence platform on an Agile team. Deliver solutions that are maintainable and tested within the agreed upon timeframe. Work with the UI/UX team to create front-end patterns to be followed throughout the platform. Mentor engineers on best practices and participate in code reviews and sprint planning. Identify opportunities and work through challenges. Work with the product team to understand business requirements. Break down technical task into small tickets to ensure product features are delivered on time. Design scalable JavaScript architecture solutions that improve overall user experience and future code maintenance. Improve testing culture to reduce functional regressions. Contribute to open source community in CB Insights name through blog posts and open source code. Remain abreast of latest technology trends to apply to current codebase.

REQTS: Must have Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered, as a Software Engineer, Computer Programmer, or a related role. Employer will accept a Master’s degree in a stated field in lieu of Bachelor’s degree. Must have three (3) years of experience with: building web application; using single page javascript frameworks; reading and writing source code; source version control systems; web development including React.js, Redux, and Material-UI; software engineering including Gitlab and AWS; data visualization including d3.js and vx; CSS animation; 3D animation; and utilizing software technologies including HTML5, CSS3, Sass, LESS, CSS Modules, JavaScript, Node.js, Webpack, Shell, NPM, Yarn and Git.
