About the Role

Particle Health seeks a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build and improve our internally- and externally-facing web applications that lead to (something about increased patient outcomes via increased engagement with our API tool).

Particle Health has a client-facing portal that allows potential, new, and existing customers to grasp the full capability of what our transformational technology can do in their own technology and workflows. In addition, we support an internal administrative tool to ensure clients have what they need in order to succeed on our platform.

The Portal Team functions as a product team with focused engineers and designers who create the best user experiences possible for all who interact with our API. This product team is an "all-in" team that supports all aspects of success of these web applications, so as an Engineer you might wear a designer hat, or a designer might jump in to support documentation needs.

Because of the collaborative nature of the role, we seek Engineers who want to contribute to a collaborative, healthy team culture, and see themselves as founders and leaders regardless of title or position.

Areas of Responsibility

• Design and build unique, delightful user experiences for various personas in the health data interoperability space
• Write server-side and client-side code for web-based applications
• Create end-to-end technological solutions by taking full ownership over the code you create - design, architect, and code with the end product in mind
• Enhance and maintain Particle's release process by serving as your product team's internal DevOps
• Serve as champion for the client user and the eventual patient outcomes that result from successful client interactions with our technology
• Collaborate with engineers to build cross-functional tools and applications
• Help develop new and refine existing processes to enhance quality and productivity.
• Drive adoption of best practices in code health, testing, and maintainability.
• Support and mentor colleagues, particularly junior colleagues

QualificationsRequired

• At least 2 years of experience in a production environment
• 2+ years of ReactJS Experience (hopefully greater than version 16.8.0)
• Expertise in designing and developing SPAs and APIs
• Proficient in using design techniques, debugging skills; easily makes technology choices; good technical and software development background
• Solid debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Comfortable working on a small team with shared responsibilities
• Experience working with a Production client-facing application
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in Microservices architecture
• Experience with gRPC
• Google Cloud Platform / Firebase
• Agile / Scrum experience
