Our client develops and manufactures the world’s most reliable digital store communication system with electronic shelf labels (ESL). They help retailers around the world to solve a number of key and time-consuming in-store challenges by streamlining critical processes in the store, such as price updates, in-store picking and inventory. They are a catalyst for retail digitization. Their system provides a stable platform for reaching out with messages, product information and offers to the shoppers.

Location: You can work from one of our offices in Bucharest, Iasi or Cluj-Napoca, or remotely from Romania. 

You’ll spend time on the following:

• As a member in one of our teams, you will participate in the whole delivery process (analysis, planning, implementation, test and DevOps) as our teams are autonomous cross-functional with specific mission.
• You will participate in the grooming, planning and demos together with your team and work closely with the product manager to make sure that you deliver customer value.
• You will also contribute to the architectural design, focusing on software microservices. You will develop and take responsibility for features across the stack in our products.
• You will participate in the design and creation of scalable, reliable and secure cloud-based services, troubleshoot and debug systems.
• We follow several principles like API first, microservice architecture, high code quality, CI/CD and these will be part of your daily work, so we expect you to be able to write effective APIs, develop backend, web and mobile applications and work with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL or other NoSQL databases, troubleshoot and debug systems, write clean, testable, functional code on the backend and frontend.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Good architectural understanding and proven experience working as a Full Stack Developer or similar role in the past 5 years
• Proven experience working with a microservices architecture, cloud services and experience working in a DevOps oriented team
• Good experience working with building tools and containers, and implementation of CI/CD for the microservices built by your team
• Good experience with backend languages like Java, Python, Go and the Spring Framework.
• Previous experience developing frontend applications with frameworks like React, Angular, React Native
• Previous experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, Terragrunt, GCP or ELK
