nTopology is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer for our Growth team. Our Growth team’s mission is to help new users get the most out of nTopology software using data. We’re looking for an engineer who can guide front-end and back-end application architecture, improve our continuous delivery, make decisions based on data, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to help new users have a great experience with nTopology.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager, Growth. Can be based in New York, NY or Remote in the U.S.

What You’ll Do

• Design and build client-side and server-side architecture
• Build, enhance, and release web applications for customers and employees
• Collaborate with the Product and Design teams and engineers across the company to build new features and support business initiatives
• Work with technologies like Python, Flask, React, CI/CD pipelines and more
• Optimize our web applications for maximum speed
• Improve our applications based on feedback from users and customers
• Participate in code reviews, as both a participant and reviewer
• Perform incidents analyses when necessary
• Make suggestions for better solutions to problems
• Keep abreast of latest and emerging technologies

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 5+ years experience as a professional full-stack engineer working on web applications at scale
• 3+ years experience using React, Angular, or other front-end frameworks
• 3+ years experience deploying services with AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure
• Proficiency with Javascript (ES6 and up), HTML/CSS
• Proficiency in designing schemas and queries for relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excited to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented growing company

It's a Plus If You Also Have

• 3+ Experience with Python and Flask
• Experience with designing and creating RESTful APIs
• Experience with Agile, Test-Driven Development methodologies
• Experience with Git workflow, including pull requests, code reviews
• Experience with desktop (Windows or Linux) C++ application development
