Senior iOS Engineer

Are you an iOS engineer who loves building product? Do you have a passion for or interest in functional programming? We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join our small iOS team and help our two e-commerce marketplaces scale. Using Swift, RxSwift, and functional programming you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of Grailed and Heroine's iOS products. As part of a small team with significant ownership, you will play a critical role in engineering new features as well as maintaining the long-term quality of our app.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will:

• Capture requirements, architect, design, implement, test, deploy, and maintain our iOS applications
• Ensure quality and responsiveness of the products
• Identify and fix any bugs or bottlenecks
• Assist the Community team with client-facing technical issues
• Represent the interests of the iOS team to product managers
• Optimize applications for performance and memory footprint
• Ship code that you can be proud of
• Keep up with the latest development trends in the mobile industry

The following might describe you:

• 4+ years of experience building iOS applications
• Experience working with Swift
• A familiarity or a strong interest in learning functional programming and functional reactive programming
• A deep understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• A strong sense for application architecture and clean code
• An ability to self start and take ownership of projects given loosely defined business goals
• A desire to learn and grow your skillset
