We’re looking for an IT Systems Engineer, who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining corporate IT systems in use to create a seamless experience for our employees, both remote and in the office. The individual will work with the global IT team, function as a technical expert in areas such as networking, SaaS Ops, system administration, and A/V conferencing, while also mentoring junior team members. The right person is a problem solver who enjoys solving tricky technical challenges and has experience working in a fast-paced modern tech environment that leverages cloud-based resources. The individual will report to the Director of IT, and will support our growing company across North America, EMEA, and APAC locations.
Responsibilities
- Assist users with support issues related to access requests, laptop issues, and network connectivity
- Maintain an inventory of computing hardware
- Onboard / Off-board employee hardware and accounts
- Develop and maintain documentation of IT user guides, procedures, and knowledge base
- Be a valued contributor in a high-achieving IT environment
- Help with the set up and maintenance of the NYC office infrastructure that includes routers, switches, wireless access points, conference rooms, and A/V in the event space
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience with IT help desk and system administration.
- In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting MacOS issues, and Zoom meetings
- Experience setting up and operating A/V equipment for in-person events and webinars
- Understanding of Scripting Languages (Bash, Python etc)
- Experience working in a company with SaaS-first architecture
- Superb communication skills, and customer service experience
- Self-starter attitude
