WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Performing hands-on software development and testing, typically spending 90% of time writing code, API specs, conducting code reviews and testing in ongoing sprints, or doing proof of concepts/automation tools
• Identifying new contact channel technologies to evaluate and implement into existing call management solutions
• Driving consistent development practices - tools and common components
• Developing a deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms within the supported domains
• Identifying exciting opportunities for adopting new technology to solve existing needs and predicting future challenges

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in Software Engineer, Computer Science or closely related field
• 8+ years of expertise in developing reliable and scalable enterprise J2EE applications
• Strong foundation and understanding of OOP principles and Java Core (8+ years)
• Strong experience with Spring (Spring Batch, Spring boot, Spring Data)
• Must have good hands on experience in RESTful web service development
• Must have demonstrated experience in Unit and Integration testing
• Strong experience with SQL Databases
• Strong experience with Non-SQL/Non-Relational databases: MongoDB
• Experience with Continuous Integration and related tools (i.e. Jenkins, Hudson, Maven)
• Should have excellent experience developing efficient, portable, web-based user interfaces using AngularJS, NodeJS, ReactJS, JavaScript
• Experience with Cloud Computing Service environment like Azure, AWS or GCP
• Experience in implementing the J2EE design patterns like Singleton, Factory, Test Driven Development (TDD), MVC (Model-View-Controller), DAO (Data Access Object), and DTO (Data Transfer Object)
• Should be able to lead customer discussions on architecture and design, help team scale up with architecture guidelines implementation
• Good experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Practical experience of the full SDLC
