  • Gain an in-depth understanding of Quartz, QzPrice and neighboring components
  • Ability to understand and enhance existing code, and formulate a strong mental model of the architecture and how the key subsystems work holistically end-to-end

  • Experience of the development of large scale distributed systems within a team
  • Exposure to testing procedures and peer code reviews relevant to the build-out of large systems

  • Initiative to independently analyze and develop solutions to problems
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
  • Strong communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Knowledge of Financial Markets, ideally with exposure to one of more of the following: market data, derivative pricing, financial products, and risk management systems. Experience building similar sell-side derivative risk management systems to Quartz would be beneficial (e.g., SecDb at Goldman Sachs, Athena at JPM, Quartz at BofA).

Desired Skills:

  • Use of No-SQL databases, and distributed compute grids
  • Master's degree is a plus
  • We are interested in smart and proactive people who can deliver business solutions.
