The Role

Say is expanding its engineering team and looking for experienced engineers to work closely with our product and operations teams on our core product offerings. 

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

- Expertise in at least one object-oriented language

- A passion for writing clean comprehensible code

- An advocate for proper unit test coverage

- Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy

- Self-­awareness and a desire to continually improve

- Hold yourself to a high bar for the quality of code and quality of user experience

- In-depth knowledge of relational and non-relational databases

- Can run easily with server-side concepts, like microservices, database caching, and performance monitoring

- Eager to help peers learn and grow

- A strong aspiration for security, scalability, and site reliability

Nice to have

- Proficiency with Python and Django

- Expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Docker

- Experience with AWS services such as RDS, S3, and Lambda
