WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Be an integral part of Interoperability team that helps support the integration between EPIC EMR and various internal systems
• Be inquisitive with data, data mapping, finding gaps are key skills to be successful in this role

REQUIREMENTS

• BS degree in an associated field or other advanced certification along with equivalent experience
• The right candidate has
• Prior experience working with EHR/EMR Healthcare implementations
• Is experienced in designing and building FHIR interfaces
• Has extensive knowledge of FHIR R4, HL7 v2 and mapping them to each other
• Has experience using FHIR Implementation Guides like US Core
• Has designed and built REST APIs
• Develops quality code leveraging source control, testing, and clear documentation

NICE TO HAVE

• Has exceptional software development skills, with demonstrated project experience using Java or .net technologies
• Has worked on healthcare interoperability systems like CloverLeaf
• Has an BS or MS plus 3 years working in real-world agile (SCRUM) teams and familiarity with tools like Jira
• Knows how to leverage code available on open-source repositories, like GitHub
• Worked on standing up an interoperability system from scratch and integrating with EHRs
