Responsibilities:

The Senior Software Engineer (Front-end) role is for someone who’s excited about crafting elegant user interfaces and improving the overall experience for users. In this role, you will:

• Build elegant user interfaces across our exciting product portfolio
• Architect efficient and reusable front-end systems that drive our platform
• Identify and resolve front-end performance issues
• Mentor junior team members to drive excellence in engineering as a cohesive and productive unit

Minimum Qualifications:

• You have a BS or MS degree
• 3+ years of industry experience minimum
• You write clean, performant JS code
• You have CSS skills
• You have a deep understanding of cross-browser differences, JS performance tradeoffs, and profiling and debugging tools
• You are passionate about building clean and modern user interfaces that enable users to solve their problems.
• You have working knowledge of NodeJS
• You have extensive experience and knowledge with React and Webpack
• You have a proven ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems
• You can work within tight deadlines to deliver products
• You have demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• You are interested in growing your skills and learning about emerging technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of GraphQL
• Science or engineering degree preferred
• Experience with server-side rendering techniques & working in test-driven development environment
• Experience with JIRA or other project tracking software
