As part of our world-class engineering team, you will design/build features and enhancements for the Turbonomic Platform which is the control system to manage workload performance, costs, and efficiency in the public cloud.

As a Senior Software Engineer (Public Cloud DevOps), you will have the opportunity to make a massive impact and will be directly responsible for developing some of the most integral parts of the Turbonomic Platform that has already enabled over 2,000 customers to transform their businesses for the digital age. What you'll do:

• Act as cloud expert for delivery of new features and enhancements in to the Turbonomic platform
• Utilize your knowledge in CI/CD, deploying and scaling applications on the cloud to design and build upcoming functionality around controlling cloud-based applications
• Collaborate with product management and the rest of our R&D team to release new cloud-centric functionality
• Stay up to date with cloud related technologies

What we look for:

• 7+ years’ experience in Software Engineering, DevOps Engineering or Operations Engineering
• Advanced cloud computing knowledge
• Experience with Public Cloud APIs for any IaaS (AWS, Azure, Google) or PaaS (Cloudfoundry, Openshift)
• Proficiency in cloud DevOps practices
• Experience deploying large-scale applications to a public cloud (note to
• Large scale infrastructure automation experience with tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet
• Software Development experience with Java, Python, Go or other modern development
• Cloud-based distributed application development and scaling
• Desirable: Experience managing hybrid and/or multi-cloud estates
• Desirable: Experience with containers and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos)
• Certifications: Any AWS or Azure Cloud Certifications (ex. Developer, Solution Architect, DevOps)
• BS or higher in Computer Science or related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Agile development methodology
