At Paxos, we are creating the infrastructure for a new, open financial system - one that anyone can access and participate in, and that operates efficiently. Join a world-class team using modern high-productivity tools (Golang, Java, AWS EKS Kubernetes, gRPC, AWS KMS Kafka, AWS Aurora, Hashicorp Vault) to build a highly available, scalable, and performant API platform for crypto custody, trading, transfers, tokenization and compliance along with backend systems for securely managing billions of dollars of assets. There are billions of people in the world who are unbanked or underbanked, and trillions of dollars that are locked up because of the inefficiencies of the legacy system. We envision a new system that allows any asset to move instantaneously, anywhere in the world - to unlock the potential of assets and people everywhere. Our customers include some of the biggest enterprises in the world like PayPal, Credit-Suisse and Societe Generale, and together we are upgrading the global financial system using modern blockchain and crypto technology.

Paxos is looking for Senior Software Engineers to join our Securities Settlement Service Engineering team.

Paxos Securities Settlement Service

The Paxos Securities Settlement Service is transforming settlement in one of the world’s largest capital markets - the $34 trillion market in US equities. Settlement in this market has operated on the same outdated technology for nearly 50 years. The Paxos platform enables revolutionary efficiencies and risk reductions in the current system - risks that have recently caused major market disruptions. Paxos leverages its unique position as a regulated and trusted institution within the traditional system to introduce innovative blockchain technology. Compelling engineering challenges arise from bringing blockchain and digital asset innovation to a market that requires extreme scaling, performance and reliability.
