About The Role:

Flow is in the business of making what is normally difficult and complex in the world of global e-commerce simple and elegant. You will be a critical part of that mission. Flow is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to work with our Onboarding Team and engage with our clients as part of pre-sales and implementation. You will conduct discovery calls with our trained Sales Representatives, demonstrate the features of the Flow platform, and gather our client’s technical and business requirements. 

 

There is no such thing as a typical day at Flow, but you can expect that you’ll go from giving technical presentations that showcase our platform to executives in and outside of the organization to working closely with the onboarding and platform team to implement our services for clients. 

 

This position will report to our Director of Platform Engineering and is located in our Hoboken office. Please note, for the safety of our employees, we are currently working remote.

 

You Will: 

 

  • Conduct discovery calls with our trained Sales Representatives and demonstrate the features of the Flow platform for prospective clients
  • Provide support to the Sales team in detailing Flow capabilities and demoing the platform
  • Lead requirement gathering sessions with clients to highlight desired business outputs and potential custom functionality
  • Guide clients through the integration and implementation of the Flow platform into eCommerce platforms
  • Partner with our Product and Engineering teams to prioritize and address the most important opportunities to positively impact clients and end consumers
  • Work with the VP of Onboarding on management of internal and external priorities 
  • Edit and write code where needed for integration

 

You Are: 

  • Comfortable talking to clients and stakeholders
  • Excellent at prioritizing and adapting to business needs in a fast paced environment
  • Proactive and self-driven to solve problems as they arise
  • Love to improve and implement new features and make suggestions for improvements
  • Exceptional with your communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage multiple concurrent projects

 

You Have: 

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university 
  • 3+ years development experience, preferably on eCommerce platforms (i.e. Shopify, Magento, SalesForce, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript languages
  • In-depth knowledge of software development and eCommerce systems
  • A solid coding background, good design sense, and like to apply cutting edge technologies at scale
