About Third Summit

Our current flagship platform is Alteon Cloud, a SaaS platform that will combine cloud-based collaborative tools with long-term storage and high-speed file transfer.

We're currently looking for a Senior Video Engineer to join the team.

Responsibilities of the Senior Video Engineer

• Design and create video infrastructure and platforms for our customers
• Operate and maintain your products for our users and team members
• Create APIs and defined contracts
• Coordinate work and daily tasks with our VP of Engineering and other team leaders
• Communicate your work with Third Summit engineering teams across various perojects

Qualifications

• Experience with Python, Go, Java and/or C++
• Experience in video production and processing
• Familiarity with video standards and new technologues, including such as HDR10, Dolby Vision and 360 videos
• Familiarity with audio and video encoding formats
• Experience with DRM and HLS-AES
• Knowledge of various cloud platforms, particularly from IBM
• Able to work with distributed systems
• Experience in analyzing and improving performance of CDN infrastructure
