The role encompasses

• You will join one of our cross-functional, product-focused engineering teams. All of our teams build user-facing features for our patients and you will directly see the positive impact that your work has on their health.
• You will learn about the needs of our users, actively contribute ideas on what to build next, and collaborate with a PM, UX designer, analyst, and clinical experts.
• You will prototype and build new features for our Vue.js web frontend app, evaluate and iterate on existing features, do code reviews, fix bugs, and write tests.
• You will contribute ideas on how to evolve our processes, architecture, best practices, and coding standards. We value opinionated people who know what great looks like and want to help us to constantly improve.
• You will mentor more junior engineers and help them grow.

Your Profile

• Strong coder using JS, HTML5, CSS3 with deep technical knowledge of modern web application frameworks (we use Vue.js but not a requirement).
• Experience optimizing performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Solid understanding of concepts like prototypical inheritance, promises, closures and asynchronous callbacks
• Willingness and ability to work in a cross-functional, product-focused team, and the ability to actively participate in the conceptualization of future features.
• Strong architecture and design skills, and ability to base engineering decisions on product vision.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
• Thorough and systematic approach to problem solving and debugging.
