About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Front End Engineer with exceptional ability to build and architect scalable frontend applications. Currently, our focus is on expanding our platform for providing a unified experience for our existing therapeutic applications as well as the new and strategic applications for which we are engineering and clinical validating. We have an expanding list of public, private, and privileged web properties and our software meets our patients on our mobile applications (iOS, Android) which are supported by APIs hosted within our secure virtual private cloud. Although every member of our development team spends most of the time writing code, we are really looking for an engineer who shares our focus on and cares for the success of our product and business, as well as driving life-altering outcomes for our patients. We love to work with engineers who are just as comfortable talking about low-level memory allocation, distributed systems architecture, or how to give aspects of an application a more engaging user experience. Our developers are equal parts user-advocate, architect, problem solver, and coder.

This position can either be based out of Click’s headquarters located in New York, NY or in one of our co-working locations in Boston, MA or Miami, FL. This position can also be remote (if applicable). We have a hybrid working model. 

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and driving experiences for mobile applications and delivering projects in a fast-moving and dynamic environment collaborating with other teams.
• Responsible for planning and estimation of the implementation of product requirements.
• Influence and mentor other engineers by providing guidance via code reviews, pairing and tech talks to drive a culture of engineering excellence and collaboration.
• Drive and contribute to the development of our common component library and Design System.
• Partner closely with product owners, engineering leads, managers and UX designers to build experiences users will love.

Qualifications:

• BS. in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years of experience building front end applications.
• Experience in development with JavaScript and strong understanding of fundamentals of the modern stack.
• Strong knowledge and experience using JavaScript ES6+, CSS 3 and HTML 5. Experience with preprocessors such as SASS and styled components is a big plus.
• Experience building mobile applications with frameworks such as React Native preferred or extensive experience with React or other similar frameworks and desire to learn React Native.
• Experience with Front End tooling such as setting up and configuring Webpack flows, automated code quality tooling and custom NodeJS scripts.
• Experience writing automated tests with tools such as Jest.
• Experience creating component libraries or Design Systems with React to build and contribute to our component library.
• Comfortable interfacing with backend services within the application.
• Familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, CircleCI, npm, yarn, and Github.
• Comfortable working in an Agile development environment as well as interfacing with cross functional partners in Design and Product.
