Position Summary:
The New York County District Attorney's Office (DANY) is looking to hire a SharePoint Developer in its Information Technology (IT) Department. In this role, the Developer will work closely with a team of other SharePoint and .NET developers as well as interact with users to deliver user-friendly, business-focused applications. DANY runs its intranet and applications on SharePoint 2013. The tools used are NINTEX Workflow, NINTEX Forms and InfoPath. The ideal candidate has deep SharePoint product, configuration, and development skills, is innovative and passionate, and has proven skills to deliver quality applications on tight schedules in a multi-tasking role.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy SharePoint-based applications and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Can work with users to gather and document requirements.
  • Develop test scripts; complete bug fixes.
  • Throughout the projects participate in status meetings on progress, priorities, issues, performance issues, and future work.
  • Can participate in setting the overall future Enterprise Architecture direction.
  • Perform other related duties and tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • SharePoint developer with a broad range of real-world experiences (three years' or more experience preferred).
  • Experience with NINTEX Workflow 2010/2013 and Nintex Forms 2010/2013.
  • Experience with Microsoft InfoPath.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2013 and SharePoint Designer.
  • Experience with .NET development as it relates to SharePoint customization for UI, webparts, web services and other elements.
  • Experience with Javascript and other scripting technologies used for SharePoint development.
  • Experience with SharePoint Search configuration.
  • Background in SharePoint Server Administration and Microsoft SQL Server is a plus.
  • Microsoft SharePoint certifications; MCSE SharePoint is a plus.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer Science/Engineering or similar field preferred.

Commitment:

  • Two (2) year commitment to the hiring bureau.
