The opportunity:

We’re looking for a Software Architect who has substantial experience across multiple technologies and can help the team build exciting new features to support the Parsley Health mission. You will investigate new technologies and design solutions to build new features and improve existing ones. You will then communicate the technical benefits to your team and non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will work closely with the product, design, and engineering leads to help expand the business nationally, improve activation, conversion, retention, and expansion of our healthcare products.

What you’ll do:

• Set the long term technical direction for Parsley Health digital products.
• Prioritize best practices and security when making technical decisions and recommendations.
• Leverage frontend and backend technology (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Golang, Kubernetes and Google Cloud infrastructure) to build new healthcare applications and iterate on those that already exist.
• Architect applications that shape our members’ experience and insights, ultimately helping them through their path to relief and recovery.
• Work closely with our Product and Design teams to develop new products and features.
• Assist the engineering team in execution.

You’ll need:

• Expertise in mobile and web development and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience designing and implementing technical solutions for complex problems.
• A disciplined approach to development, testing, documentation, and code structure in a team environment.
• Ability to plan and communicate forward looking plans with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfort working in fast a fast paced environment typical in startups with rapid prototyping and release cycles.
