Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in our software architecture and design patterns supported by data-driven evidence
  • Collaboratively apply your mastery of programming and distributed systems to the betterment of our software, delivery and infrastructure systems.
  • Collaborate within the technology team and other stakeholders to ensure adoption of technical solutions
  • Provide mentorship and guide delivery of new products, APIs, and services.
  • Identify the common technical challenges teams face and the patterns and approaches for solving them
  • Lead technology decisions for multiple development teams in a way that orchestrates technical efficiencies
  • Responsible for the evolution, application and proliferation of engineering best practices

Skills Needed:

  • 15+ years experience in a highly technical role
  • 7+ years demonstrating proficiency guiding team-wide adoption of technical decisions
  • Demonstrated mastery in at least one scripting language and a compiled/statically typed language
  • Proficient in a variety of modern web, non-web technologies and distributed systems
  • Leadership in promoting best practices and high quality code in your teams
  • Capability of designing and implementing distributed and fault-tolerant systems at high scale
  • Demonstrated skillfully of thoughtfully planning, prioritizing and realizing technical improvements
  • Demonstrated expertise of communicating technical improvements
  • Ability of collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • You thrive in learning from colleagues and mentoring others
