Responsibilities: Design and develop cloud based software products conforming to industry best practices. Design and implement RESTful API’s using Python. Support and maintain existing software products, applications and interfaces. Use version Control tools such as Git to manage all code base. Evaluate emerging technologies, open source libraries and provide recommendations. Support testing process and troubleshooting issues and resolving them. Participate in architectural design sessions and product discussions. Work closely with front-end and UX developers to provide scalable solutions. Work with Agile/SCRUM team setting, including cross-functional structures, and varying levels of management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field and three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience Python coding. Experience must include three years of experience with each of the following: Python best practices (PEP8); building RESTful API’s using Python Django Rest Framework; Django ORM and SQLAlchemy; relational database such as PostgresSQL or MySQL; Linux-based development; and version control tools such as Git or SVN. Experience may be gained concurrently.
