CLEAR is looking for a Software Engineer to join the Technology team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building cutting-edge applications. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about technology, stays on top of the latest trends within the field, and loves to engage with the developer community. You will be building consumer focused front end biometric experiences that will be used to enroll members. You will be interfacing with our cloud native services hosted in AWS using modern distributed application design patterns.

Who You Are:

• Develop and test typescript based client-side and server-side applications.
• Refine requirements while working closely with product managers. Help determine priority between feature development and technical debt.
• Work closely with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and UX designers to build services and experiences that are easy to use.
• Encourage team growth through active participation in technical decisions, and conversations.
• Own the feature execution process, in addition to contributing to existing coding practices (unit/functional testing, code reviews, etc.)

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of JavaScript, experience with TypeScript preferred.
• Experience with front end frameworks like React and server-side experience with NodeJS.
• You are comfortable working on API-driven applications.
• Experience with writing Unit tests for new features added to the code bases.
• Curious about technology and believe in constant learning.
• Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive with the intention to constantly improve.
