What you will be doing
We are looking for detail oriented, disciplined and capable engineers who want to see the outcome of their work create high quality, safe, and reliable systems for our Care Teams and our Patients. You will join an interdisciplinary team of engineers that is laying the foundation of Eden Health’s scalable future. You will see the impact of your work on a regular basis, and meet the consumers of the products you make better.
You will help us build verifiable quality into everything that we make. You will level up our philosophy and practice of testing, and ensure every project we do is characterized by excellence. Technical problem solving appeals to you, but you will also create space for your colleagues to learn and grow. We all learn and grow to achieve goals that can never fit in a job description.
What success looks like
- Help Eden improve quality by testing sooner and more effectively.
- Help Eden implement plans to bridge the gap between automated and manual testing - and make good choices about when manual testing is appropriate.
- Provide guidance, mentorship and advocacy for quality engineering principles to a diverse set of Eden Health engineering, design, product, and business teams.
- Conduct quality reviews of our tests and contribute improvements.
- Build tools and design processes to help us define and monitor and maintain the quality of our products.
- Build an understanding of our business and our unique approach to healthcare so that your technical decisions impact the course of the company.
What you will bring
- A knack for breaking things and finding bugs.
- 4 or more years of hands-on industry experience in QA Engineering.
- Experience integrating testing into the agile software development lifecycle and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Mindset for thinking about quality metrics and how to improve them
- Experience building comprehensive, repeatable test plans from the ground up
- An appreciation for the role of manual and exploratory testing.
- Experience in automating tests and building testing infrastructure
- Strong opinions on the role and placement of testing in the SDLC.
- Excitement about the prospect of creating systems that ensure quality for Eden Health’s patients, customers and our exceptional care teams
