At Namely, we are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to bring advanced and innovative testing solutions to a fast-growing HR tech startup. As a Software Engineer in Test, you'll contribute to the integrity, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Namely product and its underlying code base. You'll play a critical role in realizing the product vision through your fantastic code testing, teamwork, and work ethic.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead automation frameworks aligned with our microservice architecture to improve and enhance our test coverage.
• Work with Development teams to understand and help implement an effective testing model for their services to achieve high test coverage, increased release velocity, and exceptional production health.
• Ensure proper test coverage across our entire architecture and work towards closing gaps in test coverage through existing or new test infrastructures.
• Work to integrate testing more tightly into the development and deployment workflow

Desired Experience:

• 4+ years of experience writing and organizing automated tests in a professional environment
• Experience using ReSharper or similar tools
• Practice with nUnit or similar
• Fluency in one or more server-side programming languages. We use Go, Python, .Net Core
• Experience contributing to and maintaining test frameworks, services, and testing plans
• A passion for coaching and mentoring engineers and a desire to help level up those around you

Nice to Have's:

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure automation (Chef/Puppet/Ansible)
• Software development experience writing code (beyond test automation)
