Senior Software Engineer, Track Anything
We're looking for an experienced software engineer to join Track Anything, a core product team that owns Custom Fields. As a member of the Track Anything team, you’ll focus on fundamentally enhancing Asana’s flexibility and improving how teams can plan their work together. Our users are pushing the humble “task” to its limits, so you’ll work on experiments and projects aimed at empowering them to fully define and track the things that matter for their real world work.
Your contributions will range across the stack, and will involve collaboration with cross-functional leads and several partner teams to realize a consistent, high-quality experience. You will be an integral part of the entire product development process, from conception to post-launch reflection, often leading larger scoped projects with multiple teammates.

What you’ll achieve
- You’ll contribute to building a collaborative app for teams of all size
- Participate in every step of the product development process with an open and curious team, often leading others in larger scoped projects
- Develop clean, beautiful code, participate in code reviews with the team, and leave the codebase better than you found it
- Experience growth and development by being paired with a mentor who will support and guide you through opportunities to stretch and learn
About you
- 5+ years of experience working within large, well maintained codebases
- 1+ years of experience leading projects with multiple contributors
- Experience using Typescript and React
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with other teams
- Sound judgment when balancing moving quickly with producing quality code and long-term code maintainability
- Passionate about creating a superlative user experience and attentive to details
- Appreciate productivity and care deeply about helping teams collaborate more effectively and efficiently, including your own

Our comprehensive compensation package plays a big part in how we recognize you for the impact you have on our path to achieving our mission. We believe that compensation should be reflective of the value you create relative to the market value of your role. To ensure pay is fair and not impacted by biases, we're committed to looking at market value which is why we check ourselves and conduct a yearly pay equity audit.
For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $162,000-$246,400. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.
In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
