More About the Role
Grubhub is looking for an Engineering Manager for our Data Platform team to provide a user-friendly, secured and scalable data platform. You will lead the technical vision of the data platform and hold a high engineering excellence bar for all platform features. You will work with multiple teams, including data-warehouse, business analyst and machine learning, to ensure our platform direction aligns with the business.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Programming or Engineering related field.
• 7+ years experience in data engineering in an enterprise-scale company or a related domain.
• 1+ years of hands-on management experience .
• Experience with distributed data and computing tools like Kafka, Spark, Hive and Presto
• Hands-on experience with distributed system design, system scaling and performance optimization
• Experience reviewing and writing code
• Experience using cloud infrastructure like AWS
