How you'll make an impact at Collibra:

Collibra is seeking a Director, Site Reliability Engineering with a focus on application modernization, systems architecture, customer portals, and observability.

A day in the life of a Director, Site Reliability Engineering at Collibra:

You’ll be reporting directly to the Senior Director, Cloud Operations and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Modernizing the application stack - VM  to container based using managed services
  • Develop observability and debugging processes and tools 
  • Create customer tools to reduce friction from the support teams
  • Provide custom services for engineering teams to consume
  • Adapt software product to run in multiple cloud environments
  • Coach, mentor and train junior team members

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degrees or 8+ years of equivalent experience
  • Proven record with leading technical teams, 3+ years experience
  • Subject matter expertise in a product domain
  • Experience with agile methodologies
  • Experience with monitoring, tracing, and observability tools from ideation to implementation
  • Technical proficiency with Java, Scala, or go and distributed systems
  • Ability to set measurable goals and drive teams to success
  • Written and verbal English language skills
