What We're Looking For

A highly motivated solutions architect with a core focus on Cloud Applications and AWS Infrastructure. You will implement best practices for migrating and develop/publish solutions to help build and scale application infrastructure. This includes solutions to help automate, manage, and handle infrastructure. You will provide direction on how to tailor the mechanisms used to secure and deploy workloads reliably and safely to production. You should have experience in automating infrastructure deployment (e.g., tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or CloudFormation).

As part of an entrepreneurial team in this rapidly growing business, you will play a key role in further improving our cloud infrastructure

Responsibilities:

• Support and architect enterprise-scale solutions utilizing emerging platforms and technologies.
• Design and implement the optimal present and future-state data-blending and analytical architectures for customer scenarios, including server sizing support, strategies for achieving high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery
• Provide recommended best practices on architecture, deployment, and tech stack integration.
• Engage with Tech team leaders to ease concerns about security and governance.
• Remain up-to-date on the latest Kinetik solutions and products and maintain familiarity and adherence to all company methods and procedures.
• Deliver standard, customized and/or strategic, senior level solution demonstrations and presentations outlining the functional capabilities, competitive advantages, and business benefits of the Alteryx solutions as they apply to client needs.
• Participates in product and solution training to acquire and maintain a detailed level of product knowledge of core components of offerings and assigned solution areas, how each solution addresses business challenges, competitive information to identify how our solution stands apart, and what challenges/limitations may be encountered.
• Engage customers to extract critical technical and business drivers that may position company deliverables.
• Knowledgeable of emerging technology architectures built on containers and microservices
• Develop best practices for building out scalable solutions to benefit customers of any size

Qualifications:

• MS degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field, or equivalent work experience in a software/systems engineering or lead position
• 5+ years of direct experience working with a variety of enterprise and cloud technology systems, designing solutions, or developing business applications.
• Knowledge of tools like Chef, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes for managing the configuration of your deployed workloads is encouraged.
• Understanding of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or in a similar role that focuses on technical solution design and implementation
• Highly analytical when it comes to complex problems, not intimidated by technical challenges
• Excellent communicator with the capability to advise/persuade technical and non-technical stakeholders
