About the Role

We're looking for a passionate, Senior Engineer to join our growing web engineering team. This role is centered on building out exceptional web based products, which for us means more than just in-browser. We've adopted a modern stack based on React, Redux, Redux Sagas and Styled Components, and pride ourselves in building an exceptional quality product that our customers love to use.

You'll be primarily focussed on solving the challenges of communicating around creative content, working with a cross-functional product team, and have full ownership and direction for the output of the team. Across the stack, we're big users of AWS Lambda, Elixir, Swift, Go, and NodeJS — we're a small, polyglot team that punches above our weight in terms of engineering output. 

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience on the front-end, working on highly interactive products in the browser.
• 1+ years acting as a Team Lead is desirable, but we can be flexible for the right candidate.
• Deep understanding of Javascript, including working with a framework or library such as React, Angular, Ember, or Vue.
• Prior experience working with unit testing in Javascript using Jest, Jasmine, mocha, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for animation.
• Any experience working with video or audio in the browser is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Leading the development efforts around new features and maintenance on our flag-ship web product
• Helping determine the vision, future direction, and architecture of our web platform
• Working closely with designers and product managers to plan, design, and deliver new features
• Mentoring and coaching other members of the team, and helping get each other 'up the curve'
