The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Information Security Engineer to join our team. As a Sr. Information Security Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and performing all day-to-day functions related to Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a specific focus on SailPoint IdentityNow. Your expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow configuration, along with working knowledge of OKTA directory, will play a critical role in ensuring the security and efficiency of our IAM processes.
How You’ll Help Take Us There
- SailPoint IdentityNow Configuration: Design, configure, and maintain SailPoint IdentityNow, ensuring optimal functionality and performance within our environment. Customize workflows, rules, and policies to meet specific business requirements.
- Application Integration: Lead the integration of applications and systems with SailPoint IdentityNow, working closely with application owners, architects, and developers to ensure seamless integration and secure access management.
- System Administration: Administer the SailPoint IdentityNow platform, including user lifecycle management, access requests, certifications, and password management. Monitor system health, perform troubleshooting, and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Policy Development and Compliance: Develop and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and guidelines within the SailPoint IdentityNow environment, aligning with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), ISO 27001, and SOC2.
- Access Provisioning and Review: Oversee access provisioning and de-provisioning processes within SailPoint IdentityNow, ensuring timely and accurate assignment of user roles and permissions. Conduct periodic access reviews to maintain data integrity and security.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather IAM requirements, provide technical guidance, and support ongoing projects. Maintain comprehensive documentation of SailPoint IdentityNow configurations, workflows, and integration processes.
- Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, system administrators, and other stakeholders regarding SailPoint IdentityNow and IAM-related queries and issues. Conduct training sessions to promote awareness of SailPoint IdentityNow best practices.
- Advanced Scripting: Utilize advanced scripting skills, particularly in Python and PowerShell, to automate IAM processes SailPoint API Integration, enhance efficiency, and streamline workflows.
What We’re Looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in a technical role focused on Identity and Access Management, with expertise in SailPoint IdentityNow.
- In-depth knowledge of SailPoint IdentityNow configuration, including workflows, rules, policies, and customization.
- Working knowledge of OKTA directory and integration capabilities with SailPoint IdentityNow.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), ISO 27001, and SOC2 in the context of IAM.
- Strong understanding of IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, such as user provisioning, access controls, RBAC, and SSO.
- Experience with incident response, security audits, and vulnerability assessments within an IAM/SailPoint IdentityNow context.
- Advanced scripting skills in Python and PowerShell for automation and workflow enhancements.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex IAM/SailPoint IdentityNow issues.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $150,000 USD to $220,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
