As a QA Automation Engineer at Vimeo, you will collaborate with other QA engineers, QA Analysts, Product Leads, and Software Engineers to define and implement Vimeo’s test automation strategy and best practices. If you are passionate about creating tests, optimizing coverage, ensuring high-quality release candidate builds and production deployments across multiple technical environments (API, browser, native apps, etc), this is the opportunity to have a large impact on how Vimeo builds and ships products!

What you'll do:

• Contribute to Test Strategy, write and run tests across various components and features of the Vimeo Platform
• Run diagnostics and effectively report discovered issues to the appropriate team
• Create robust, flexible automated test suites to be run within a continuous integration workflow and in local development environments
• Collaborate with various teams and gain an understanding of the full-scope of the Vimeo Platform
• Build reporting to continuously measure progress on Vimeo’s development lifecycle and product quality

You’ll be better equipped to succeed if you have:

• 2 + years of Automated Software Testing Experience
• Proficiency creating Automated Tests in Php, Java, Javascript/Typescript, or other languages
• Proficiency with Testing Frameworks such as Selenium, WebDriver and/or Appium
• Proficiency in providing clear Automated Results Reports based on test cycles
• Experience with CI environments such as Travis or Jenkins
• Experience interacting with and testing http APIs
• Excellent communication skills and ability to capture and provide supporting data
• Comfortable collaborating with other Testers, Software Engineers, and Product Leads
• Experience with Testing Tools such as Developer Tools, Proxies, and custom Test Harnesses
• Experience with Windows, Android, macOS, iOS systems, and TV Platforms
• Ability to recognize and run diagnosis on visual and functional regressions
• Creative thinking to optimize test approach and efficiency
