Job Description

The Sr. Salesforce Developer is responsible for architectural design and implementation, including both hands-on practical development and technical leadership of our global Sales organization. The Sr. Salesforce Developer will join our growing Enterprise Data and Systems team, working alongside a Salesforce Administrator and stakeholders across many departments to ensure that Salesforce meets the evolving needs of our rapidly growing business. This role focuses on creating an optimized, end-to-end CRM experience for Butterfly Network across both B2B and B2C channels, and developing a Customer-360 architecture.


As part of our team, your core responsibilities will be: 

  • Design end-to-end frameworks to improve alignment and efficiency across all our commercial systems
  • Developing and leading a data quality management program for tracking and reporting on the full customer lifecycle
  • Recommending and implementing technical solutions for an optimized Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success strategy
  • Maintaining accountability for solution designs all the way to implementation by performing code reviews, documenting and evolving coding standards and best practices
  • Working with business leadership and stakeholders to understand and document system requirements for data, SLAs, user experience, training, data governance and performance
  • Keeping up to date on Salesforce release updates and emerging technologies and features
  • Communicating solution designs clearly in multiple modes of communication - diagrams, documents, verbally


Qualifications

Baseline skills/experiences/attributes:

  • 8+ years of CRM industry experience (B2B and B2C)
  • Has developed large-scale, end-to-end CRM Sales solutions using Salesforce
  • Experience with highly customized Salesforce API integrations/endpoints
  • Project Management skills; comfortable managing multiple initiatives
  • Proficient with Apex and SDLC Management process
  • Refactoring and tuning Apex codebases for performance improvement

Ideally, you also have these skills/experiences/attributes (but it’s ok if you don’t!):

  • Salesforce Architect certification(s)
  • Experience with Salesforce orgs supporting eCommerce businesses
  • Experience configuring and maintaining Salesforce CPQ
