Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Site Reliability Engineer for Productivity Services is responsible for the technical design and operations of productivity solutions used globally by NBCUniversal employees and partners. These solutions will enable the workforce to create, share, and collaborate on content from anywhere at any time built upon the Microsoft 365 and Azure platforms. This technical role is expected to apply a software engineering mindset to system administration topics elevating the availability, reliability, and security of solutions while reducing operational costs.
REQUIREMENTS:
Specific responsibilities include:
- Drive Incident and Service Request reduction by implementing workflows and solutions integrated with ServiceNow
- Automating tasks, reduction in time to resolve by integrating ServiceNow with tools & applications across Workplace Technology Engineering across Collaboration Engineering, Workplace Solutions, AV & UC Engineering
- Work closely with cyber and compliance teams to ensure adherence to security and compliance standards
- Lead the technical design, implementation, and operation of automation solutions with an emphasis on ServiceNow
- Participate in design, planning, configuration, reporting, deployment, and day-to-day operations of Workplace Engineering
- Contribute to the site reliability engineering center of excellence including the creation of standard artifacts, best practices, and learning plans
- Participate as a standing member of the engineering review board to evaluate trade studies, approve solution designs, and maintain the overall workplace system architecture
- Participate in the weekly agile process to resolve technical impediments and assist in user story definition and sizing

Qualifications
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6+ years' experience in driving Operations and Automation for Collaboration Tools and Workplace Solutions
- 5+ years' experience designing scalable and reliable enterprise solutions including considerations for multi-tier software architectures, networking, and security
- 3+ years' experience with cloud-based infrastructure and platform services including identity and access management (Azure)
- Bachelor's degree in computer-related field preferred or equivalent years of experience
- Knowledge & understanding of the working of Collaboration Tools (Email, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint etc)
- Licensing administration across collaboration tools. (M365, Adobe, Dropbox, etc.)
- Asset Lifecycle Management Tools (ServiceNow).
- PowerApps & Power Solutions, Integrations with ServiceNow
- Task Automations through ServiceNow
- Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution
