What We Are Looking For:

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will architect and develop products used to support thousands of rooms across the world and hundreds of team members. You will work on business critical systems such as Domio's property, on site maintenance application, in room IoT, the guest booking and on-trip experience, and user-facing booking applications. You will have a lot of autonomy and influence on the technical direction and the ability to work on greenfield projects.

At Domio You Will:

• Lead and architect our operational systems and consolidate our internal tooling including property management, inventory tracking, task management, and guest communications
• Architect, drive, and build applications that provide delightful guest experiences and optimize retention
• Develop our booking and on-trip applications, optimize applications for conversion,, and establish patterns across the engineering team
• Grow as a technical leader, mentor junior engineers, and teach industry-wide best practices
• Work on greenfield projects, staying flexible to changes in the fast-paced industry - you'll research, identify, and prototype new tools to automate manual functions within Domio

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience designing and building production ready applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent experience
• You have experience shipping large projects with multiple dependencies across technical and non-technical teams
• You value high test coverage.
• You design features with solutions that take account code paths outside the happy path.
• You are familiar with several different writing patterns; backend for frontend, MVC, Repository pattern, Container-Component, Ducks
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in a hyper-growth, high-paced environment working under deadlines and milestones
• You have a startup mentality of getting things done - you're a self-starter that stays flexible to changes and has a positive attitude toward building a world-class company from scratch
• You could see yourself growing as a technical leader within Domio
