We are getting ready to launch and scale a Stealth Consumer Lifestyle startup, ready to transform the medical aesthetics and beauty space. With funding already in place, this startup is well positioned to disrupt the multi-billion dollar US medical aesthetics market, infusing cutting edge technology and new services into an industry primed for innovation. We are looking for a full-stack web engineer with JavaScript and Java skills to join the growing engineering team for this new startup.

What You Will Do:

• Build and iterate on a responsive, mobile-friendly web app
• Create and consume REST services and APIs using JavaScript and Java
• Implement new features in a highly collaborative environment with product managers, UI/UX experts, and fellow engineers
• Contribute to a future-ready, high quality, and performant code base
• Share your technical solutions and product ideas with the team
• Work with DevOps and QA teams to optimize performance and experience

Who You Are:

• 3+ years software engineering experience with expertise in technologies like Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
• Experience with OOP design and building backend applications with REST services using Java
• Experience with software engineering best practices (e.g. Agile software development, test-driven development, unit testing, code reviews)
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Bonus: 1+ year(s) of experience with React
• Bonus: Experience building React Native mobile apps
