At Aircall, we are looking for engaged and passionate Software Engineers to join our growing Engineering Team. In the next few years, our technical challenge is to leverage fully decoupled architecture and microservices at scale with reliable, event-driven infrastructure behind the scenes.
Volume: Store, aggregate and compute 1M+ events/day today, 100M+ by next year
Live: Analyse and take live decisions based on 1M+ events/day
Modularity: Make our stack scale and increase squads' productivity by featuring microservices based on event-driven architecture
Uptime: Keep a 99.99% uptime while dealing with an exponential activity growth
We have built and successfully operated +8 microservices since 2019, and that's just the beginning. There are impacts and changes at all levels: architecture, infrastructure, software, organization, and business.
As we scale our stack, we are scaling our team. The engineering team is organized in Chapters, Tribes and Squads. These agile, autonomous, stable, and multidisciplinary squads focus on a specific business scope driven by customer-centric objectives and key results.
*Remoter Engagement:*
4 days minimum in Aircall Paris office / month (timezone CET)
2 weeks to 2 months onboarding onsite

Our amazing engineering team is composed by 40+ multicultural engineers in both Paris and New York. We build software on top of voice communication solution as Twilio.
We're organized in squads which allows us to combine different experts (tech, product, design, business) around a specific roadmap project. This drastically improved our productivity by focusing on key subjects and making our own decisions. Trust in one another is the key to success, along with commitment and transparency.
Your mission @Aircall:
- You will be an actor and have a strong impact on call quality experienced with our applications
- You will have a strong impact on customer satisfaction by working closely with other Aircall teams like Customer Success and Design
- You will become an expert in WebRTC and signalling protocols
- You will build new components for our actual applications (desktop, web, mobile) delivered to 50k+ users
- You will work closely with our technology partners (Chrome, Twilio, Electron)
A little more about you:
- You are a software engineer with strong WebRTC Front End experience
- You are excited about the power of WebRTC and the future of real-time communications
- You are familiar with development on multiple platforms (desktop, web, mobile...)
- You are working frequently with automated build and test pipelines
- You have an experience with a production application using WebRTC, especially on the client side
- You are detail-oriented and have capacity to troubleshoot media issues until finding root causes
Nice to have (but not mandatory)
- Experienced with Twilio SDK
- Experienced working with Customer Success teams and customers
- Knowledge of a static type checking (we use Typescript)
