About Your Contributions:

Define and drive the technical vision and roadmap for our mobile application across iOS and Android platforms, as well as the internal APIs and CMS that manage our app content.

Establish and maintain a mature software development lifecycle (SDLC) for mobile app updates on both iOS and Android platforms, including roadmap-driven versioning, robust testing processes to ensure performance, reliability, and security, and compliance with platform-specific guidelines to ensure app-store approvals

Monitor app performance using analytics tools and continuously optimize performance based on user feedback and usage data to improve the overall user experience.

Work closely with product managers, designers, content creators, and other teams to integrate product vision and feedback, enhance app features, and drive user engagement.

Lead, mentor, and grow a cross-functional division of mobile app developers, CMS engineers, QA and other technical stakeholders.
About Your Qualifications:
You have deep knowledge of modern mobile app development techniques and trends, as well as broad familiarity with web application development. You are an experienced manager of managers who can help guide and shape our engineering teams into a cohesive whole. You have:

Proven experience (8+ years) in managing cross-functional teams developing iOS and Android apps.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.

Strong technical background with expertise in mobile application technologies, especially

Firebase and mobile application technologies: Deep experience with Firebase services, including Firestore for scalable NoSQL data storage, Crashlytics for monitoring and resolving app crashes, and Firebase Push Notifications for real-time user engagement and messaging

React Native and similar (e.g., Flutter): Build high-performance, cross-platform mobile applications with a JavaScript/TypeScript core and native platform-specific UI components, including predictable state management patterns using Redux or similar alternatives.

Native App development: Familiarity with building and managing both Swift (iOS) and Kotlin (Android) true-native applications; the ideal candidate will have experience migrating from an existing codebase, and can help guide the conversation about when and if to do so.

Nest.js or similar (e.g., Express.js, Fastify): Develop scalable, efficient, and extensible server-side applications using modern web frameworks like Nest.js or equivalent alternatives.

Code signing and release management: Expertise in managing the end-to-end app release process, including code signing, provisioning profiles, and certificates for both iOS and Android platforms, and CI/CD pipelines. Proficient in ensuring secure and compliant app distribution through App Store, Google Play, or enterprise channels.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration of APIs into front-end applications.

Demonstrated ability to drive technical strategy and deliver high-quality products under tight deadlines.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira).

Familiarity with content creation tools such as image uploaders, video players, social media APIs, and other related technologies.
