Join our Tech Strategy and Execution, Corporate & Investment Bank team as an Executive Director, where you'll promote tech initiatives across all Corporate & Investment Bank technology teams. Your focus will be on scaling AI use cases to enhance our software engineering processes and realizing the full potential of Large Language Model tools in a complex, global engineering organization. This role demands problem-solving skills, software engineering fluency, and a history of executing large-scale technology change. This high-impact role offers unique exposure to senior technology leaders at JPMorgan.
As an Executive Director within the Tech Strategy and Execution team of the Corporate & Investment Bank division, you will be responsible for leading matrixed teams to address complex problems, formulate strategic decisions, and resolve implementation issues that are crucial for realizing the business value of technology initiatives. Your role will involve designing and implementing solutions to expedite decision-making processes, define problems, identify significant issues and actionable opportunities, and quantify business benefits. You will work closely with stakeholders in the Corporate & Investment Bank division and partner organizations to comprehend incentives, constraints, and priorities, and ensure delivery through organizational alignment and buy-in. Additionally, you will be tasked with developing work plans to achieve the objectives of technology change investments and constructing frameworks, content, hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps for solutions.

Job Responsibilities:
- Design and drive solutions to accelerate decision making, scope problems, identify major issues and actionable opportunities, and quantify business benefits
- Collaborate with stakeholders in CIB and partner organizations to understand incentives, constraints, and priorities; drive delivery through organizational alignment and buy-in
- Develop work plans to deliver the goals of technology change investments
- Build frameworks, content, hypothesis sets, analyses, and roadmaps for solutions
- Lead and support interviews, working sessions, and presentations, driving towards business outcomes
- Identify potential roadblocks, propose solutions, get buy-in, execute, and escalate when needed
- Identify implications and "so whats" of outputs, data and analysis within the team
- Contribute to development of concise communication materials for senior management
- Build high performing teams through teamwork, leading by example, and professional development through apprenticeship and feedback lops
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- 10+ years consulting experience with a top-tier strategy / management consulting firm, an internal consulting / corporate strategy team, or a top-tier technology firm in a client facing role
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written) as well as strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues as peers and achieve goals without direct control over resources
- Knowledge and fluency in enterprise IT management concepts including organization, product operating model, budgeting, talent, and risk management.
- Technical fluency in software engineering concepts in large commercial teams.
- Proven entrepreneurial drive to identify opportunities for impact and influence others to take action
- Proven ability to structure and scope complex problems and apply a range of analytical and qualitative tools to develop solutions
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Financial services background is preferred, but not mandatory
- Significant experience with PowerPoint for executive-level documents and Excel based models for analysis and planning. Tableau or similar BI experience for analysis is preferred
