The Role:

DailyPay is growing! We are seeking an Accounting Manager to help lead our team, while implementing tools and processes to make Accounting a valuable business partner to the rest of Finance and the leadership of the company.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Support a growing accounting staff with strong people leadership that encourages continuous excellence and growth.
• Develop, enhance, maintain, and enforce internal controls.
• Manage and monitor assigned accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and tax and other regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate and improve accounting policies, practices, and procedures.
• Meet internal and external reporting requirements.
• Partner with other areas of the finance function (FP&A, Analytics, OCFO) to help the company achieve its goals.
• Manage relationships with auditors, tax specialists, and other providers.
• Drive development and continuous iteration of processes, systems and infrastructure with clear roles/responsibilities/ownership.

What You Bring to The Team:

• 5+ years of work experience, optimally in a high growth FinTech SaaS company
• Public and private company background
• Experience implementing new systems and solutions
• Ownership mindset with a high degree of accountability
• CPA and/or Masters in Accounting preferred
• Occasional need to work outside of normal business hours as required to support customers may be required
