About the Role:
As the Accounting Manager, you'll be the trusted leader of our financial close process, ensuring the accurate delivery of month end, quarter end, and year end results. You will be a technical accounting expert, but also operational, as you help scale our accounting processes with our growing business. You will require routine interaction with other departments to ensure relevant financial and accounting information is captured. You will help lead the International month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process for Click Therapeutics, ensure accurate accounting following Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and manage a team of 2 direct reports.
Generally positions at Click can be on-site, remote or hybrid (an optimal combination of remote and on-site). Our headquarters is located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. We also have dedicated spaces in central Miami, San Francisco, and Boston, and, in addition, via our partnership with Industrious, any Click employee can access co-working locations nationally.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the month end close process, provide monthly Balance Sheet, P&L and Cash flow reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyzes financial data to assist in the preparation and evaluation of budgets, rolling forecasts, performance KPI’s, and other financial operating reports.
- Reviews financial reports, identifying and recommending appropriate corrective actions.
- Monitors accounts payable and accounts receivable to ensure that all A/P invoicing and A/R billing are accurate and timely.
- Implement a controls structure and develop efficient processes that will scale with growth and oversees A/R collections & write-offs.
- Conducts variance analysis of prior year vs. current year, and current year vs. forecast, of financial statements.
- Prepares summary analysis notes on departmental results that accompany monthly reports.
- Manage 1-3 accountants and contribute to their career growth.
- Suggests processes, and reporting and documentation improvements to streamline work, including enhancements to software or new software programs.
- Research and resolve accounting issues.
- Ensure all financial deadlines and due dates are met in a timely manner, including the monthly financial close, vendor payments, employee obligations, financial information, and external financial requirements.
- Provide recommendations pertaining to the continuous improvement of accounting controls and other financial and administrative practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business is required.
- Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606 is preferred.
- Proficiency with NetSuite is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Hands-on, analytic, and energetic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience working at an early stage start up.
