Success: 

• Responsible for uncovering inefficiencies in the day-to-day operations and implementing changes
• Manages the AP inbox and prioritizes supplier and employee inquiries
• Reviews and codes invoices accurately and timely in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Understands the T&E policy and monitor spending against the policy highlighting any issues or concerns, following up with employees and managers
• Enters month-end journal entries and account reconciliations relating to T&E accruals as well as prepaids
• Provides training to employees for newly implemented accounting system (Workday)
• Accumulate invoices/work with cost centers for accruals at month-end
• Assist with other projects as needed

Desired experience:

• 5+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience preferred, ideally in a fast-growing company with technology or Healthcare company experience a plus
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
• Workday knowledge is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or comparable experience.
• You are a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Strong understanding of accruals, assets and prepaids
• The ability to work effectively in a start-up environment, as well as a commitment to continuous improvements
• Impeccable customer service skills, both verbal and written
• Strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude
