Accounts Payable Associate

Success:
- Responsible for uncovering inefficiencies in the day-to-day operations and implementing changes
- Manages the AP inbox and prioritizes supplier and employee inquiries
- Reviews and codes invoices accurately and timely in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Understands the T&E policy and monitor spending against the policy highlighting any issues or concerns, following up with employees and managers
- Enters month-end journal entries and account reconciliations relating to T&E accruals as well as prepaids
- Provides training to employees for newly implemented accounting system (Workday)
- Accumulate invoices/work with cost centers for accruals at month-end
- Assist with other projects as needed

Desired experience:
- 5+ years of full cycle Accounts Payable experience preferred, ideally in a fast-growing company with technology or Healthcare company experience a plus
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
- Workday knowledge is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or comparable experience.
- You are a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team environment
- Strong understanding of accruals, assets and prepaids
- The ability to work effectively in a start-up environment, as well as a commitment to continuous improvements
- Impeccable customer service skills, both verbal and written
- Strong work ethic and a can-do positive attitude
