Accounts Payable Specialist

Yext is seeking an Accounts Payable Associate to join our growing team. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, this individual will be responsible for processing global vendor invoices and payments and work with our procurement team to develop purchasing best practices.
Responsibilities
- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing
- Process payments for all global entities
- Audit and process credit card bills
- 1099 maintenance and reporting
- Review and approve T&E reports
- Prepare data analytics on accounts payable and payments
- Respond to all vendor inquiries
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies
- Assist in month end closing
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Respond to auditor requests for invoice and payment support
- Assist with other projects as needed
Minimum requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred
- 2-4 years accounts payable experience
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Excellent data entry skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
- Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or as a team member
