Cadre is seeking an analyst to assist in financial operations, reporting, and curation of real estate property level information. The analyst will act as a liaison between Cadre’s operating partners and the asset management team with a specific focus on ensuring the accuracy and completeness of property level reporting. Additionally, the role will encompass the development and implementation of technology based infrastructure to more efficiently facilitate the data transfer and curation process. The position will require close interaction and collaboration with company leadership, acquisitions team, accounting team, engineering team, and external operating partners. The candidate will need the ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment where innovation and creativity are critical components to success.

What You’ll Do:

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of all reported property-level information
  • Develop and implement standards for efficiently collecting property level data from operating partners using technology tools
  • Maintain internal Cadre database to ensure accuracy and consistency of all reported property level information
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to further develop data efficiency tools directed at streamlining data gathering and curation methods
  • Assist in generating monthly/quarterly reporting and investor updates
  • Coordinate with vendors and project managers to develop and integrate new systems
  • Participate in investment team initiatives by providing real-time advice, suggestions, and recommendations on new business products and systems

What You Have:

  • 2-4 years of experience in real estate accounting, asset management, valuation or similar role
  • Command of real estate specific financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, rent roll, etc.)
  • Comprehension of real estate fundamentals and terminology
  • Argus experience a strong plus
  • Understanding of accounting and general business principles
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively identify issues and formulate solutions, often times in unconventional manners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work efficiently with little supervision
  • Entrepreneurial minded
  • Highly motivated and driven
  • Ability to take risks and accept failure
