ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Operations Strategy Analyst (Collections & Recovery) will play a critical role in the Happy Money Operations Team to make sure the company is mitigating losses while maintaining and enhancing customer experience. This role will be responsible for supporting and transforming our collections programs to optimize debt collecting effectiveness, monitoring system/data risks of each program/activities while focusing on the customer experience.

The analyst will be responsible for developing new collection policies and maintaining existing policies to minimize risk for all of Happy Money’s lending products. We are looking for a hands-on analyst who takes ownership and seeks opportunities to find operational improvements. 

This is a 100% remote role (Based in the United States).

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor's degree or higher-level program in a quantitative field such as math, economics, engineering
• 2+ years of professional experience in analytics and strategy, including 1 - 2 years of experience in coding with R, SQL, and Python
• Intellectual curiosity and desire to challenge the status quo - we’re trying to reimagine the financial industry and you will help us with our strategy
• Strong communication and influencing skills - you will be working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working with white space and rapidly changing requirements
• Demonstrated success in helping build business strategies and driving them to completion through collaboration and implementation

BONUS POINTS

• 2+ years of experience in loss mitigation related strategy and analytics
• Experience in financial services or FinTech
